The internet is great but its not perfect. There are a several important details we need from you in order to give you a quote. Many of you have shopped around and even seen our famous Greece travel packages and wondered about costs. Simply answer our few questions as to hotel level, arrival date, nationality and time constraints and we'll tell you without obligation. Contact or Free Quote.
Remember if an on-line hotel booking sounds too good to be true there may be hidden costs or scheduling difficulties. Many hotels charge cancellation fees even if, through no fault of your own, you don't arrive on your booking date. A travel agent like HGTG recommends saves you money, aggravation and time!
HGTG has been doing this successfully for 12 years. How many sites can honestly say that?

The very 1st thing we do is check to make sure you can make connections in the time you allocate.
Due to time constraints kindly refrain from ferry schedule questions unless its part of one our packages.
Unsolicited 200X - Dear All: We are back after a wonderful trip on the Greek islands.
Everything went well and according to schedule. The hotels we stayed at were great, the transfers were always on time etc.
But the greatest thing about the whole trip was the people.
Greeks are one of the kindest people we've ever met. We want to thank you for a wonderful vacation, and be sure we will recommend your services to anybody who plans a trip to Greece. My wife and I are planning to go back next year, with our three sons but probably in the month of September.
Again thanks a lot for your services and your interest in that everything worked out fine.
If there is a place in the Internet where I can place a comment let me know. Best regards - Alvaro Artavia
HOT GREECE TRAVEL TIPS
Everyone has their own idea of what a trip-vacation-holiday-package-tour of Greece should entail so to help you get started, I placed links to some of the most major stuff you should be considering seeing or learning about below and at the top of every page.
Tip One: See Athens on the return leg of your journey to the Greek islands to avoid ferry cancellations due to the annual Meltemi winds.
Arrange to arrive in Athens early in the morning to make your ferry other wise spend the night.
Want to know how to take the metro to get to Piraeus from the "ATH" airport? (Allow 2 hours minimum please!)
Tip Two: That's me 'chillin out' at the Oracle of Delphi where you don't need the Pythoness to tell you that early in the a.m. - which in order to avoid the throngs, for all major Ancient Greek classical sites is your target time - you need a windbreaker even in August.
YOU NEED A WINDBREAKER Greece is windy and don let anybody tell you different.
It can and does get chilly at night even in summer AND especially on islands
where the wind can blow for days at a time and frequently does!
Especially in the spring and summer! Aeolos the Greek wind God gets in your face.
Enjoy Athens as a base but escape it with a variety of tried and true excursions and 1/2 day on up Athens based day trips off on your own or organized and guided among which I can recommend the classical four day tour to Delphi - its a decent value and you'll mingle with others - check out the Delphi Museum! The scenic drive is half the fun especially the Monasteries. You also likely pass through the Pass of Thermopylae & Battlefield en route just as we did. Our guide was great too. See the day trips menu above.
Tip Three: Sensible shoes/sandals and a hat you can fold up and even swim with while so accoutered are among the first things you should pack! See more Greece summer or winter packing tips. For stuff to buy here including clothes and souvenirs click.
Greece Off Season? Crete is the answer! Heraklion Prefecture | Hania Prefecture | Lasithi Prefecture | Rethymnon Prefecture | Samaria Gorge | Heraklion Museum | Knossos
In case you are lured away and want to return its easy! There are three ways to reach this page, each more memorable than the last.
